Plenary session D: Development of the organic sector – country cases
Parallel workshop E1: Development of the organic market – local markets
Parallel workshop E2: Development of the organic market – processing and exports
Plenary session F: Organic certification
Each session will comprise of 3 - 4 presentations followed by discussion. Those interested to contribute are invited to submit proposals for a single presentation not longer than 15 min.
Presentations are invited on the aforementioned sessions and topics. It is hoped to receive a full range of proposals from various countries, from the public / governmental as well as the private sector. Practical experiences are strongly encouraged from those having a good developed organic sector as well as from those just starting with organic.
Submission of proposals:
Proposals may be submitted in English or Russian until March 5th, 2008.
Please provide the following information with your proposal:
- Title of your presentation (concise, max. 10 words)
- Session in which your presentation should be included
- Abstract that summarises content and objective of your presentation (max. 500 words / about ¾ page single-spaced, Arial)
- Short CV (max. ½ page)
- Contact details: name, address, company/organisation, position, country, telephone, email-address
Send your proposal to conference@organic.com.ua with the subject “proposal Organic Conference Kyiv”
All proposals will be reviewed by the conference program committee. Incomplete proposals will not be considered. Authors will be informed by mid of March 2008 if their proposal has been accepted.
Conference proceedings:
When accepted, speakers will be invited to submit a full paper (max. 3 pages) to be distributed on CD (each paper in the language in which the presentation is held) at the conference for all participants. After the conference, all papers will be translated. Proceedings will be available in two languages for download at the conference website (www.organic.com.ua) by end of May 2008.
Speakers will be asked to submit a photo (300 dpi) for publishing in the proceedings.
Note to speakers:
All speakers can request free registration and free conference dinner. Free accommodation can be provided for 2 nights in selected Hotels. Travel expenses up to 250 Euro per Person may be reimbursed upon availability of funds.
